Charlie's Poems...... Church member Charlie Banasky has
become RHUMC's unofficial RHUMC Poet Laureate through his periodic contributions
to our Third Worship Service on Sunday evenings. Each of the "Charlie's Poems"
listed below is a recording of one of his original works as read during worship.
Sometimes his poems relate to the scripture lesson or the sermon topic,
sometimes they comment on events of the day, and sometimes they answer deep
questions such as "what kind of car would Jesus drive?". His creativity, insight
and sense of humor add an important dimension to the worship experience at our
informal Sunday evening service service.
A dentist by profession, Charlie is married to Maureen Banasky, our
Administrative Secretary. They live in Palos Verdes Estates and have two
daughters and one grand daughter.
