A Great Place to Grow!

RHUMC Kid Zone offers an exceptional  After School Program, Monday through Friday, 1:00 - 6:00 p.m., for children from Kindergarten through 5th grade. With bus transportation from schools to our private facility, Kid Zone strives to provide a safe, fun and nurturing place for your child to grow academically and socially.

During the summer we have eight weeks of spectacular camps for children entering kindergarten through 5th grade. Come for all eight weeks, or just one week. For a sneak peak into the Summer 2012 schedule, please click   here.

In addition, Kid Zone coordinates two week-long  Vacation Bible Camps in August and during Spring Break for preschool and elementary-age children, age 3 to 5th grade.

• Winter Camp

  Week-long Vacation Bible Camps are offered during Spring Break and in August. Please click here for more information.

• Summer Camps

  During the summer, Kid Zone offers eight week-long camps for children, entering kindergarten through 5th grade. Each week has a different theme within the overall theme for that summer. Children may sign up for one or more weeks, or for one or more days in a week. Campers are separated into two groups: entering kindergarten to 2nd grade and entering 3rd to 5th grade.
  
  A child may be signed up for the Full Day program (9am - 4pm), 3/4 Day Program (9am - 2:30pm), 1/2 Day Morning (9am - 12noon), or 1/2 Day Afternoon (1pm - 4pm). Extended hours in the Morning (7:30am - 9am), through Lunch for Morning campers (12noon - 1:30pm), and Afternoon (4pm - 6pm) may be arranged.
  
  Information about the next summer's camps is available in March. Registration begins at that time. Kid Zone 2012 Summer Camps run June 18 - August 10. The final week of camps is a Vacation Bible Camp.

After School Program at Kid Zone

Kid Zone offers an after school enrichment program that provides care for children in elementary school. Our goal is to provide each child with an exceptional program that nurtures their individual spirit and intellect. Homework can be plentiful in elementary and middle school. We understand that children have different learning styles and we work with parents and kids to help meet their needs. Our goal is to have homework done when you pick up your child so you can have a pleasant evening at home.

How does Kid Zone After School work for Families?

We offer many options for families. If you need after school care 5 days a week, we are there for you. If you only need care one day a week we can accommodate that. If you wish to participate in just an extracurricular activity such as dance you may sign up just for that class.

Our Kindergarten program picks up "early birds" and "late birds" from several area schools. To see the list of schools, please click here. Afternoon activities include lunch they bring from home, homework, reading circle, thematic centers and group activities. We provide an afternoon snack.

Our elementary program focuses on providing a safe and comfortable environment to do homework, have a healthy snack and participate in recreational activities. We pick up elementary children from . Our normal hours are 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Kid Zone is also open for full day fun on some "School Out" days, spring break, and a portion of the Christmas break. Summer camps run June - first two weeks in August.

What is the Cost for the After School Program?

You select the days of the week and pay a monthly fee. In order to keep the monthly cost down, tuition is amortized over 10 months. There is an additional fee for extra curricular activities, tutoring and private music lessons.

In addition to helping with homework, we can arrange private tutoring with a credentialed teacher.
