Children's Ministries

Welcome to Rolling Hills United Methodist Church's Children's Ministry. We serve all children from birth through 5TH Grade. Our goal is to assist parents in providing a course of spiritual and moral development for their children. This is accomplished through a variety of programs and events that foster fun, fellowship, worship opportunities, and community service. RHUMC Children's Ministries coordinates children's activities on Sundays, including Sunday School, nursery and child care, and acolyte participation in worship services, as well as special events, such as an Easter Egg Hunt, a special children's Christmas Eve Service, and Vacation Bible Camps during Spring Break and Summer.

Vacation Bible Camps

Each August and Spring Break week, Kid Zone conducts a 5-day Vacation Bible Camp for children 3 years to 5th grade. A whimsical theme is the basis for learning Biblical truths. Both half-day and full-day camps are available, with flexible scheduling to choose the days and times that work best for your family.

Vacation Bible Camp at Spring Break

Kids ages preschool (3 yrs old) - 5th grade may join us for Spring Break Vacation Bible Camp. Each day campers will explore biblical truths as we have fun singing, storytelling and making crafts, playing games, and enjoying snacks with friends. Both morning and afternoon camps are available. A full day combination of Vacation Bible Camp in the morning and Kid Zone activities in the afternoon is also an option. Extended day hours are available for children in grades K - 5.

To register, print out the Kid Zone Spring Camp Description and Enrollment Form , fill it out, and either bring it to the Mid/Kid Zone office or mail it with payment to the address below.

Vacation Bible Camp in August

Vacation Bible Camp in the summer is offered during the final week of Kid Zone Summer Camps. Information and registration forms are available in March.

If you are going into 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and would like to volunteer to be a Jr. Crew Leader, please download and fill out the Volunteer Form below. You can either bring it to the Kid Zone office during office hours ( 9am - 6pm, M-F ),
or mail the enrollment form and payment to:

Kid Zone/Mid Zone Summer Camps and Summer Vacation Bible Camp Begin Registration in March for the Following Summer

Special Events

Each spring, children up to 5th grade are invited to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt, and both on Palm Sunday and at the Christmas Eve 4pm service, children play an active part. Other events may be scheduled during the year, and Kid Zone provides wonderful activities for children, grades K - 5th, both after school and during school breaks.
